 We went to the BiCentennial Pool and had a fine swim.  Now Elizabeth is cookin a stir fried steak mixture.

Yesterday I won $5 at Ocala Bets Poker.  Pretty lame, but at least I did not loose.

Hot but nice just the same.

 We met up with Jerry and Jan Bent at the Raymond Museum in St. Petersburg this week.  It was a good visit.  We ate at Ceviche, the Spanish tapas place I love.  Nice meal outside.  We ate a fine potatas bravas, lamb chops, and other tastes. We enjoyed the Raymond Museum for out second visit.  Large wooden sculptures are easy to see with my one eye.  Great Indian art.  Just a treat to go there. I tired easily, but what else is new?

FIRST TRIP SINCE THE PANDEMIC

 Elizabeth and I flew from Albany to Baltimore and then on to Tampa yesterday.  The Albany flight was uncrowded and easy, but the Baltimore flight was full.  The only empty seat was next to Elizabeth. I was comfortable on the flight.  There were only 3 hours in the air and since that was broken up, I did not even have to use the bathroom on the place. I did not like the crowds in Baltimore.  It was unreal.  I guess everyone was busting out of lockdown.  I am happy to be fully vaccinated and would not have wanted that experience before now. Elizabeth packed some lamb sandwiches and we had them while we waited for maintenance to fix the exit sign.  We had been boarded first as I was in a wheelchair.  So, we had a fine uninterrupted time to eat and clean up before the rush. Mike K. was right there to pick us up from luggage.  The guy who wheeled me down actually got our bags for us as well.  I tipped $5.  Once home we unpacke...

Homosassa Park and Grumpy Gators

Mary and Ruth stayed the night and we had a grand time catching up on stories.  We still all talk too much about illness, but that is just what we do as old people. Here we are at the best restaurant in the world, Van der Vaulk out on the patio area. Seemed odd without Chuck.  Perhaps next year he will be down here. We all had some of the seafood special. The women all had salmon.   I had flounder stuffed with crab, a bit off diet, especially for the French fries which I managed to get extra crispy.  No house chips available.  The French onion soup was good. We had a great waitress, dark haired, friendly and cute.  Melly, the owners daughter was there as well. She is always so friendly with us. As we ate, the sunset.  It was not dramatic color, but fine ambiance just the same.  Along side us were about a dozen Netherlands folk speaking their language.  As the sunset the old lamps came on and they started up some of the firepits....
